It usually happens in families that have no dicipline or parental guidence. A parent should be smart enough to know that a child can tell how their home life is without ever saying a word. DURING his stint as a senior Wollongong town planner, Labor powerbroker Joe Scimone was a bully who made impromptu decisions to benefit his mates, the corruption watchdog has been told. Mr Scimone, one of 14 people under investigation by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), held a number of senior positions with Wollongong council in a 15-year association which ended last year. The inquiry today kicked off its second week of hearings into allegations of sex-for-development and bribes at the New South Wales south coast council. The NSW Government has been plunged into crisis following the accounts of Mr Scimone's former employment with the council, subsequent elevation to a senior NSW Government position and his ties to ministers.
Lady Mocs Softball Travels to Jacksonville State
Fresh of a strong showing at the LSU Easton Tiger Classic in Baton Rouge, La., the Chattanooga Lady Mocs softball team is set to head to Jacksonville State for a 5:00 p.m. double-header on Wednesday, February 20.
After opening the season with a strong showing at home against Kentucky and Wichita State, the Lady Mocs continued their strong play in Louisiana at the LSU Easton Tiger Classic, winning their first three games by a combined score of 35-11.
The Lady Mocs defeated first-time opponents St. Johns 11-5 and Nicholls State 15-6 on February 15 before a homerun barrage and a three-hit shutout from sophomore pitcher Brooke Loudermilk gave UTC a 9-0 victory over Ball State.
In that game, senior outfielder Tara Tembey (Folsom, Calif.) belted a two-run homerun in the fourth inning while junior third baseman Toni Hutchison (Madison, Tenn.) connected for a two-run blast over the center field fence to make it 7-0.

Just read this article in The Sun. The depressing thing is, I wasn't shocked by it. Promiscuity amongst teens is becoming all too common, but the repurcussions are far-reaching: (1) We have the highest rates of teenage pregnancy and abortion in Europe. (2) We have the highest incidences of STD's in Europe. (3) It seems our taxes will now be paying kids to undergo "sex therapy" as the 15 year old girl in the story did, because it seems to be the only way for them to see the error of their ways. Can't blame immigration for this one. Can't blame the government who cannot be expected to chaperon every youth in the UK. Can't blame the schools because sex edcuation most definately is on the agenda but the sexually rampant young teens are too busy skiving to attend those classes. I blame the media for over-sexualising everything.
